Slalom Weekend – With Boater-X Open Races – 8-9th July 2023

On the weekend of the 8th and 9th of July The club is hosting a division 2 Slalom event at Jackfield.
Everyone is welcome, and encouraged to come spectate, get involved, volunteer your time to support the club. All help gratefully received.

Parking will be tight and its likely to be limited, but there will be food, drinks etc. provided by Bridgnorth Scouts and although very limited camping if booked well in advance.
There will be racing in different classes on both days and a series of boater-X races on both evenings designed to get everyone involved..
Bring your own boat, get involved and have some fun.

The weekend will look roughly as follows:

Thursday evening – Begin setup on site
Friday – Instate Slalom Poles and complete site setup
Saturday – Slalom racing will run roughly 10:00 – 16:00 with a break for lunch
Saturday – Boater-X – Fun and carnage in your own boats from 16:00 onwards
Sunday – Slalom racing will run roughly 10:00 – 16:00 with a break for lunch
Sunday – Boater-X – Fun and carnage in your own boats from 16:00 onwards
Awards and Ceremonies will be on Sunday afternoon/evening
