Freestyle with Matt Stephenson

Thursday the 7th August 2025 will be a day of freestyle with current C1 World Freestyle Champion Matt Stephenson. Want to improve your wave skills? Got something on flat water you want to nail? Everything is up for grabs!

We’ll be working on both the flat water and on the main wave at Jackfield, water levels permitting. The session will run from midday through to the evening so that those who have work commitments during the day can join the session later on.

Open to all abilities, whether you’re starting in freestyle or are at an advanced level. While a bombproof roll isn’t a necessity, we do recommend that you have at least the basics of a roll before attending, even if it might not be 100% reliable yet.
